DLF Downtown is a testament to the future of work, where futuristic office spaces blend seamlessly with rejuvenating spaces of thriving restaurants and buzzing retail amenities. At the heart of its maintenance strategy is an innovative Building Maintenance Unit BMU, specially designed for its two towers. The BMU features two identical machines, each with an outreach of six meters, and a spacer of three meters to accommodate the 2.7-meter high facade extending from the building.

At the heart of its maintenance strategy is an innovative Building Maintenance Unit BMU, specially designed for its two towers. The BMU features two identical machines, each with an outreach of six meters, and a spacer of three meters to accommodate the 2.7-meter high facade extending from the building.
Solution
These machines are equipped with a GRU unit, a part of the BMU, capable of lifting glass up to 500 kgs, simplifying window replacement and maintenance.
The BMU also incorporates a monorail system and our proprietary ETT, ensuring ease of maintenance. To further enhance accessibility, a pair of davit and aluminium scaffolding has been installed, allowing maintenance personnel to reach all areas of the building.
Result
In line with DLF standards, a safety line system is attached to our track brackets, providing an additional layer of safety for operators when they suspend themselves via the cradle. This innovative approach to building maintenance, combining advanced technology with safety and efficiency, sets DLF Downtown apart as a model for future developments.
