WHAT IS MONORAIL ?

  • Monorail is a single-track system, where the Cradle is suspended directly below the track with a drive system which moves it horizontally along the tracks. There are two types of Monorail: -Face Mounted and Ceiling mounted. The Monorail incorporates trolleys that allow the system to remotely control the horizontal movement and the cradle is mounted on these trolleys by steel wires.

Ceiling Mounted Monorail System:

  • The Monorail brackets are mounted on the ceiling of the cantilevered RCC slab or beam with the help of chemical or mechanical anchors as per design calculations. The designs on the Monorail brackets are customized as per site so that the brackets can be concealed with the ACP or false ceiling. The Monorail track can also be powder coated to match the aesthetics of the building to camouflage the

Face Mounted Monorail System:

  • The Monorail brackets are mounted on the face (inner/exterior) of the RCC parapet or beam with the help of chemical or mechanical anchors as per design calculations. The Monorail track can also be powder coated to match the aesthetics of the building to camouflage the cleaning system with the building features.
