CLASSIFICATION OF DAVIT SYSTEM
Fixed Davit System:
As the Name indicates the Fixed Davit system is a type of
Davit System in which the cantilever of the Davit remains
fixed, this type of davit system is used where we have the
clearance at ground to land/park and pick up the cradle.
Swiveling Davit System:
The Swiveling Davit System is used where there is an
obstruction at the ground floor for the cradle movement/parking. The advantage of the swiveling davit
system is that its cantilever can be rotated 360 degree to
land the cradle at the terrace level. This system is best
suitable with building having different terrace floor
levels.
